#goosebumps! Nigerian Iconic business magnate, Alhaji Aliko Dangote, on Saturday received a well deserved honorary doctoral degree from the prestigious Ahmadu Bello University(ABU), Zaria,
He made an acknowledgement tweet on his twitter handle that suggested he was pleased with the award. “I am truly honored and humbled to accept the honorary doctoral degree from the prestigious Ahmadu Bello University(ABU), Zaria, an institution famed for its academic rigour and quality of staff, and the enriching experiences of life within its walls.”

Dangote was educated at the Sheikh Ali Kumasi Madrasa, followed by Capital High School, Kano. He obtained his higher education degree in Al-Azhar University, Cairo, where he specialized in business studies and administration.
Aliko Dangote celebrated his 62nd birthday recently. He is currently Africa’s richest Man with a net worth of US$10.6 billion
Meanwhile a former President of the Nigerian Labour Congress (NLC), Comrade Hassan Adebayo Sunmonu was also conferred an honorary doctoral degree by the same university.
Dangote and Comrade Sunmonu were honoured for their immense contribution to the economic and human development of the nation.
