It’s a yearly event which celebration equates that of a birthday, anniversary or an engagement party, whereby people from all works of life, irrespective of tribe, race and religion celebrate in a totally unique way.
In as much as there are varying historical stories traced to the origin of Valentine, there’s a common denominator which is “Love”
People take out time to go on a vacation, show love by exchange of gifts, give charity to the needy, play nicely, have lots of fun with whoever they so wish. Some family take a vacation to Disneyland, Dubai, Singapore and all the beautiful places you can dare to imagine.
Statistics also shows that there’s usually a lot of marriage proposals and engagements that take place on the 14th of Feb, and equally some breakups too. But in all, it’s a moment of shared love.
What about the colors of the day. How did it come about? I may not bore you with the color scholars of Valentine. Most influencers have made the white and red color a mainstream for Valentine. That’s such a great combination if you asked me.
