Auditions will commence in the following cities in Nigeria: Lagos, Abuja, Port Harcourt, Enugu, Warri, Calabar, Ibadan & Benin City.

The BBNaija reality TV Show is a Nigerian reality competition television series in which about 12 to 14 contestants live in an isolated house for a period of 3 months, and compete for a large cash price worth $100,000 at the end of the show by highest votes, and avoiding being evicted from the house.

It is one of the most popular and appreciated reality TV shows across Africa whose participants are Nigerians. #BBNaija has being hosted a couple times outside of Nigeria, but this year’s season 4 will be hosted in Nigeria according to a press brief in Lagos.

Multichoice Nigeria’s General Manager, Sales, and Marketing, Martin Mabutho discloses why the show can successfully hold in Nigeria and attain the global standard. “From a cost perspective, it is always good to share the Big Brother House in South Africa where all the African franchise of Big Brother can make use of the house. Now, we are at the vantage position of hosting the show in Nigeria and give the global standard for which the show is known for. The Big Brother House is currently under construction and will be ready before the kick off,” he said.

Big Brother Naija Season 4 is said to be changing its major sponsor, this time Bet9ja emerges headline sponsor of the show benching the former sponsor, Payporte. In a press briefing, Bet9ja’s senior marketing manager, Olufemi Osobajo, said the show resonates with the company’s objectives.

Our core value in Bet9ja is changing lives of the Nigerian youth. We believe the bet ticket holds more power in changing the lives of the youth and Big Brother Naija has done the same thing changing lives of the youth in all the editions of Big Brother. This is why we are supporting,” he said.

While Prestigious Ebuka Obi Uchendu, a 2-time consecutive host (season2 &3) & former #BBNaija housemate retains his position as the host in the coming season 4.
