Davido’s show @the02London was sold out. It was the biggest show of his Career. He wrote, “Rehearsals for the biggest show of my career! I’m bringing my everything! See you soon.”
The concert which took place on 27th Jan at the 02 Arena in London was a long awaited show which pulled in strings of hype from Davido.
He wrote, “For me, it’s about always elevating the movement with every step taken! January 27th will be historic! Queen Elizabeth herself go know say we dey town! Don’t hear about it be a part of greatness! #DavidoLiveat02.”
The show kicked off with live displays of DJs such as Tim Westwood, DJ Ecool, DJ Bibi, and DJ So Good, and more.
Followed by performances from members of his DMW crew including Mayorkun, Peruzzi, Idowest, Dremo, and more.
According to Africa Facts Zone, “Davido has become the youngest and second African Artist to sell out the World’s Busiest Music Arena, 20,000 capacity O2 Arena after Wizkid. Here is him in June 2018, saying he got the inspiration to sell out The O2 after “his brother”, Wizkid did so.”
Wizkid had his moment June last year at the same 02.
However, Davido’s girlfriend also had her own food show at the same venue in London . It was sold out too. It was indeed a moment for the duo.
